Goals:
Encourage and foster the joy of singing among young men.
Provide an opportunity for young men from different high schools in this area interested in music, to interact with other youth and established singers as well as have the opportunity to perform for a large audience.
We hope to recruit 30-50 young men from Asheville area high schools for a day long (8 a.m.—6 p.m.) intensive teaching workshop to learn 3 quartet arrangements, followed by a performance. We will have sheet music for the songs and part specific learning tracks to prepare in advance. Meals and logo T-Shirts will be provided, along with the day of coaching and singing.
Real Men Sing targets area high school boys with an intensive day of harmony and fun at TC Roberson High School. They will be under the tutelage of a nationally recognized music educator and 4th place International Mixed Quartet singer from San Antonio, Manny Lopez (click for bio), and a top quartet from Knoxville, the Rocky Toppers (click for bio).
We'll perform a show in the evening, at TC Roberson High School, for your friend and family's enjoyment. Included will be additional barbershop singing of many types. We're excited! For more information, about Real Men Sing, download the RMS Fact Sheet here.

The all-day fee, including music, learning tracks, 2 meals and a t-shirt, is $15.
